PAWS of Chinook

Penny Penny is a lovely, sweet and cuddly pup once she gets comfortable. She LOVES to play, but she loves to cuddle on the couch even more. She is extremely timid and will take some time to settle into her new home. She is crate trained, but has a bit of separation anxiety when left in the house. She eventually settles down and does well in the crate. Penny is mostly potty trained and needs some practice with a leash. She very food motivated and learns quickly. She is protective of her food, but not aggressive. Although she is shy, Penny is protective of her home. She is vocal and speaks her mind when strangers approach. She is not aggressive toward people, but takes a while to warm up and trust them. She is great with other dogs, cats are unknown. Penny will make a lovely, devoted companion to those with the time and patience to help her through her past trauma. A brother or sister would be ideal for Penny.
