PAWS of Chinook

Sweet Wally boy!  Our rough estimate is 3 years old for this handsome devil. Unfortunately, he has not been dealt the most fair hand. His previous owner did not get him vaccinated - because of this, Wally deals with a few issues from distemper. He is not contagious. He is healthy, happy, and the most charming gentleman you will ever meet - we mean that!

Wally came to us after we received a tip from a concerned passerby. When we arrived, Wally was in a shoddy dog house with a stringy old blanket. His owner said that he was beat up by neighbor dogs on a daily basis. She agreed to surrender him to our care, and he has been loved unconditionally ever since.

Wally spent some time in a foster home where his personality really started to shine! It was with his foster family that he jumped up on his first couch, rode to the store and got to go inside! Everyone who meets this boy immediately falls in love with that shar-pei face. Can you blame them?

Wally will need a few procedures before he is available, to ensure some consistency we will hold him here at the shelter until all procedures are complete and he is released by the attending veterinarian. At the time of adoption, he will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. We do not have a release date for him at this time, but we welcome approved applicants to pay him a visit!
