Over 30 years ago, the idea that dogs didn’t have to wander the big sky without a home was born. From it’s small beginnings as kennels on borrowed land to it’s very own shelter within the county seat of Chinook in 2006. It still operates today as the only brick and mortar shelter in Blaine County and all of its 4,000+ square miles. The addition of The Rescue Rack thrift store in Havre, Montana is supporting it’s efforts, that idea is just as important today as it was in 1994.
Whether you donate to the shelter, the store, make a purchase, share a post, or even tell a friend, every effort keeps the shelter and it’s residents alive. We are proud to speak for those who cannot. We are fierce in our commitment to those who ask for nothing, but deserve everything. And we are blessed to do it from this tiny shelter under this big sky.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
